How do I get an appointment to plan my wedding cake?

Simply call our pastry shop at 315-656-7692 to set an appointment to speak to one of our pastry chefs. We’ll get some of the most important details and invite you in for a complimentary cake tasting. At this time, a down payment of fifty percent is required to secure your special date with the remaining balance due at least one month prior to your wedding.

How much does it cost for the average wedding cake?

At the Purple Hippo, our price starts at $4.25 for traditional rounds. That includes any flavor of cake and also any filling as well!

If we’re expecting 100 guests at our reception, how much cake will I need?

We recommend having as many slices of cake as guests you expect will attend. Be prepared to serve every guest a slice of your unique wedding cake.

I really like the look of a five tier wedding cake but we’re only having one hundred people, do I have to compromise?

You can have as many tiers as you like. We can decorate Styrofoam pieces to identically match the “real” tiers of cake. We can’t even tell the difference!

Do you make individual pastries and cookies for weddings?

Yes!, As more couples are leaning toward offering guests a viennese table We do offer mini pastries (smaller two bite pieces) at $2.75 per person.
